This was a challenge entry for one of Polycount's challenges. The challenge was to create a building facade utilizing modular design with a limit of 20,000 triangles and 1x2048x2048 texture space. I wanted to build a typical modular building facade that utilized a unique prop set in order to build a visually strong building. The setting for this building is something out of a techno-junk universe similar to Gunnm/Battle Angel Alita or Blade Runner. On top of Polycount's challenge specs I also wanted to challenge myself as an artist and do something I am not normally used to - hand painting my textures completely. So with a few exceptions, I hand painted the majority of the textures while looking @ Valve's Team Fortress 2 for some ideas on how they created theirs.
